This morning, I was made aware of the excellence it takes to be an IVF doctor. The culmination of those that helped me have decades of hard work, study, possible all nighters, money, time,  sacrifice, tears, sweat and dedication when they wanted to may be give up.  Its for the will of God, the plan of God and the path of the doctors, nurses and myself to be in this place. Their yes is a blessing for me to receive the promise of God. I am so grateful to God and the IVF staff for what is happening. It takes a lot of the right people, situations and time to be here. This is a divine appointment. I can not fully grasp the orchestrating from Heaven that is taking place just for this one event in my life. Isaiah 55:9 in the Bible explains the sovereignty of God “For just as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” It’s true, this is a biblical view of what God is doing not just for me but my husband, our family, our children, our children’s children. The legacy doesn’t touch just one generation. It touches the entire world. Some things in life are meant to be simplistic. This is where you see that simple choices with deep conviction have brought my family to a place of complex, planning that I can not fully understand. This really makes me aware of how impactful choices are in our lives big and small. If it didn’t matter the choice would have no impact, no lasting touch of the future. Choices are meant to empower what we desire in life and to bring good about in our hopes and dreams. I’m praying my choices don’t get lost in emotion, human consciousness. That my choices are humbly considered before the Lord. Because this choice is unlocking a dream for my family from my Father’s Heart allowing my children a chance at a beautiful life. This is how I know it’s God’s will. I don’t understand why this season of my life has gone this way but the mysteries of God are His and His alone – Deuteronomy 29:29 – “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.” I hope that in the choices I make,  I consider the time,  the motive, the intent and others. Not to get lost in the details but to steward one of the greatest gifts God has given me. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding Yes! And through Christ, our Amen (which means Yes) ascends to God for His Glory.” 2 Corinthians 1:20. God has given me the right to choose. I hope my desires and choices are honoring and pleasing to the Lord. I seek the Holy Spirit to discern what is best. God’s grace, mercy and forgiveness is freely given to me when I take a step off my path. I am eternally grateful for the compass I have to guide me for the Lord’s way that others will be blessed by my choices.
